System Action has chosen the sustainable yoga mats made by oléyoga for Action, its first yoga and activewear collection. The Barcelona womenswear brand, which turns forty this year, has put on sale a collection of garments for yoga practice alongside the oléyoga natural rubber mat. Action is available at systemaction.es and in System Action stores.

The Action collection coincides with the fortieth anniversary of System Action, a brand of reference for sustainability and fashion in Spain, with a selection of garments created for moments of calm, wellbeing and movement.
System Action: forty years of Mediterranean fashion out of Barcelona
The first System Action store opened in 1986 on Portal de l'Àngel, Barcelona, and since then the brand has become a reference for relaxed, contemporary womenswear with a marked Mediterranean character, with dozens of stores in Spain and a commercial presence across Europe. Its Time for Action line works with recycled and organic materials such as cupro, bamboo and linen, and backs proximity production.
oléyoga: sustainable yoga mats, from Spain to the world
oléyoga was born as an answer to the lack of sustainability in the yoga industry, an industry built on synthetic materials, little traceability and cheap labour in Asia.
The Eco Daily sets out to give yogis a more ethical and sustainable mat, made locally, with natural and recycled materials that respect the planet. Its surface is high density natural rubber for more grip, it is reversible to extend its life, and its core is made with recycled rubber, which cuts the use of raw materials and makes production more sustainable without giving up performance.
A collaboration between sustainable brands
Beyond the garments and the mat, this collaboration is a way of working. System Action and oléyoga arrive at it from the same convictions: natural and recycled materials, proximity production and supply chains that can be traced and explained. Action brings those criteria together in a single collection, where every piece, from the garments to the mat, is made by a company that can say where and how it produces.

Fashion is still one of the most polluting industries on the planet, and no brand can change that alone. Collaborations between companies that already produce responsibly show that another model is possible, and they make it visible: when sustainable brands join forces, the sustainable option stops being the exception on the shelf and starts to transform the way we consume, towards a more ethical and committed model.
