oléyoga sprang to life in our living room in Madrid, where we dreamed of blending entrepreneurship with the change we want to see
We believe in living life fully while treading lightly on the planet. To us, “impact” means not only carbon emissions, but also plastic waste, animal cruelty, and all forms of injustice.

That’s how we created oléyoga, our sustainable yoga mat company
The idea seemed like a natural fit. David, a certified yoga instructor, fell in love with yoga while healing an ankle injury. Chris, started yoga in Wasghinton, D.C. but found the vibe too stiff. Together, we’re bringing a fresh, eco-friendly twist to the mat.
Changing the norm
The yoga mat industry isn't sustainable
We found that even top brands use cheap labor in Asia and synthetic materials. We knew we couldn’t follow that path, so we spent a lot of time finding local, sustainable companies for our supply chain.
