Our story
We’re Chris & David.
Yoga is part of our lives. oléyoga is part of how we choose to live them.
We created oléyoga to bring together what matters to us: practising yoga, caring for the planet and finding a different way to do things.
Live fully. Care for our surroundings. Act responsibly.
It started in our living room.
oléyoga began in Madrid with a shared idea: building a business that reflects our values.
We wanted the care we find in yoga to extend to the things we use to practise. So we began asking what yoga mats are made of, where they are produced and what happens when we stop using them.
For us, caring for our surroundings also means considering waste, animal welfare and the people behind each product.
Two paths to yoga.
We came to yoga through different experiences. Those experiences meet in oléyoga.
David discovered yoga while recovering from an ankle injury. He trained as an instructor in Rishikesh, India, and now brings his experience to product development and technology at oléyoga.
Chris started practising yoga in Washington, D.C. Her work in animal welfare, the environment and sustainability also guides the brand’s decisions.
Choosing how we make things.
Our mission starts with the decisions behind a yoga mat.
We choose to make Eco Daily in Europe, combining a natural rubber surface with a recycled rubber core. We want a mat that supports regular practice and reflects our approach to consumption.
Materials, manufacturing location and useful life are all part of the same conversation. We keep working to understand and improve the impact of those decisions.

Our answer: Eco Daily.
A mat to accompany your everyday practice.
Eco Daily combines natural and recycled rubber, European manufacturing and a reversible design that lets you practise on both sides. It is 4 mm thick, with a non-slip surface.
It is how we put oléyoga’s values into a product. Thank you for being part of our story.
